The toy shark 'floats' because the magnets ........repel........ each other.

What happened to the shark when she removed her finger?

The tail bounced up again, settling down in its original position.

It would 'bounce' but settle to the original position - the mark did not depend on that - you needed to show you knew it would move back up to get the mark.

(c) Buffy then added weights to the toy shark and measured the distance between the two magnets.
